REQUIREMENTS FOR GETTING A DRUG LICENSE

In order to set up a medical shop or pharmacy, the minimum area of 10 square meters is required. It is mandatory to have refrigerator and air conditioner on the premises as some of the medicines are required to be stored in fridge. The medical shop must have a qualified Pharmacist approved by the department which is required to be employed as a full time in such retail shop. Under the wholesale the sale can be made by a competent person who must be graduate with one experience in drug license or must have worked under any experienced person which is approved by drug control department.
